The 7,000 pound capacity will lift most cars and light trucks. Two of the biggest benefits of the Rotary enthusiast lift are the fact you can order it with a 110v power unit and you do not have to bolt it to the floor. This means you do not have to scar your beautiful epoxy floor and with our optional casters you can move the lift from one area in the shop to another. The lift comes in two sizes- a short version with 149" runways and 63" rise, and a long version with 175" runways and 76" rise. To give you an idea of length, a Chevrolet Suburban has a 167" wheelbase. The lifts come in black, blue, red, grey, or yellow. Several options are available; drip trays that go under the car, a movable jacking beam that can be used with your bottle jack, extended ramps for very low cars, casters to move the lift in the shop, 110v or 220v, and solid metal floor plating to store things like mowers, four wheelers, snowmobiles, etc.

 

CGW-8 8000lb 4-Post Lift

The CGW-8 is our signature 4-post car lift for home lift use. The CGW 8 vehicle lift has been designed to include the commercial style “Double Lock Ladder Leveling System” and secondary backup safety locks used on our commercial grade 4-post lift models that you would find in your local car dealership service shops. This NEW STYLE CGW-8 has also raised the bar by increasing the lifting height to 76” and it will now clear 72" under the runway. The CCG-8 has more lifting height underneath as well as the ability to level the runways while in the locked position. Only the Revolution Lift by Rotary Lift Consolidated offers this same leveling and locking capability and has the same style backup secondary safety lock system. All other lifts on the market do not provide for leveling the lift while resting in the locked position nor do they use a secondary lock system for the cables.

“The Double Lock Ladder Safety System” on the CGW-8 car lift allows you to level the lift to an unlevel floor while being in the locked position. Our competitors are not capable of being level on an unlevel floor while in the locked position which is how you use any lift correctly. They can only be locked on locks that are not adjustable which leaves your vehicle locked only as level as your floor (assuming their lock positions were welded or cutout accurately). The CGW-8 Lift not only solves the problem of leveling but also has a unique backup secondary lock. Should a cable go into a slack condition for any reason, the secondary lock will engage automatically.

Answer: Add the height of your vehicles together, and then add 7" to that total.
